Cancellation
You have the right to cancel this contract during the 14-day cancellation period without giving any reason. The cancellation period begins on the date the contract is signed and lasts for 14 days, during which you may cancel without any penalty.
If you cancel within the 14-day cancellation period, any deposit you have paid will be refunded in full.
If you cancel after this period, we may need to apply a charge to cover any actual costs incurred up to the point of cancellation.
We do not normally begin any work until the 14-day cancellation period has passed. If you wish for work to start earlier, you must provide written confirmation requesting this. Please refer to your contract for full details regarding your cancellation rights.

Timetable for Works and Sub-contracting
We will agree on the installation dates with you in writing after the order has been confirmed and we have received your deposit, if we have asked you for one. It usually takes 2-3 days to install an ASHP. Your installation will usually take place within 1-2 weeks of receiving your order, subject to workload and availability of materials.
Sub-contracting installation works
Simple Green Energy will subcontract (Enter Sub-contractor) in accordance with RECC.
Simple Green Energy Limited cannot be held responsible for any installations carried out where planning permission was required but not obtained, and we cannot offer refunds in such cases.
Commissioning the system and handover
As soon as the work is complete, we will commission your system in line with MCS standards to ensure that it is safe, has been installed in accordance with documented procedures and manufacturer's requirements and is operating correctly in accordance with the design.
Under the rules of the MCS, and following the testing and commissioning of the system, we will give you an MCS Certificate within 10 days. This certificate confirms that we have met the requirements of the MCS, and it details key information about the installation.
Following the testing and commissioning of the system, we will promptly give you a detailed document pack with information about your solid biofuel microgeneration system, and this will include:
- User instructions.
- Details about the specified fuel, fuel storage and fuel handling requirements.
- Maintenance requirements; and
- A commissioning check sheet.
After-Sales Support and Maintenance
Following commissioning, we will explain and provide to you:
- The maintenance requirements and maintenance services available.
- The completed Compliance Certificate; and
- Electric certificate
- MCS Certificate
- User Manuals
Timetable for Works and Sub-contracting
We will agree on the installation dates with you in writing after the order has been confirmed and we have received your deposit, if we have asked you for one. It usually takes 4-5 hours to install the cavity wall insulation. Your installation will usually take place within 1-2 weeks of receiving your order, subject to workload and availability of materials.
Installation works
Installation work will be carried out by Vivek Walia from Simple Green Energy Ltd.
Handover, After-Sales Support and Maintenance
As soon as the work is complete and has been installed in accordance with documented procedures and manufacturer's requirements, a check will be performed to verify that the system is operating correctly in accordance with the design.
Following the check, we will promptly give you a detailed document pack with information about your cavity wall insulation, and this will include:
- User manuals/instructions,
- Details about the specified material used including product data sheets,
- Maintenance requirements.
Guarantees and Workmanship Warranty
Your cavity wall insulation is guaranteed by its manufacturer for 2 Years.
We guarantee our workmanship for the Cavity Wall Insulation from the date of installation, providing a 2 years Workmanship Warranty. This workmanship warranty will be transferable to the new legal owner of the property if it is sold during the warranty period.
Workmanship warranty insurance
Your workmanship warranty is insured under the Quality Mark. You will receive an individual policy document in your name confirming this property address.
Timetable for Works and Sub-contracting
We will agree on the installation dates with you in writing after the order has been confirmed and we have received your deposit, if we have asked you for one. It usually takes 8-10 hours to install a boiler. Your installation will usually take place within 1-2 weeks of receiving your order, subject to workload and availability of materials.
Installation
Installation work will be carried out by a qualified gas engineer from Simple Green Energy Ltd.
Handover, After-Sales Support and Maintenance
As soon as the work is complete and has been installed in accordance with documented procedures and manufacturer's requirements, a check will be performed to verify that the boiler has been installed correctly in accordance with the design.
Following the check, we will promptly give you a detailed document pack with information about your loft insulation, and this will include:
- User manuals/instructions,
- Details about the specified material used including product data sheets,
- Maintenance requirements.
Guarantees and Workmanship Warranty
Your equipment is guaranteed by its manufacturer as follows:
5 Years for Boiler
We guarantee our workmanship for the Boiler for years from the date of installation, providing a minimum of 2 years Workmanship Warranty. This workmanship warranty will be transferable to the new legal owner of the property if it is sold during the warranty period.
Workmanship warranty insurance
Your workmanship warranty is insured under the Quality Mark. You will receive an individual policy document in your name confirming this property address.
Timetable for Works and Sub-contracting
We will agree on the installation dates with you in writing after the order has been confirmed and we have received your deposit, if we have asked you for one. It usually takes 1-2 days to install a Solar PV system. Your installation will usually take place within 1-2 weeks of receiving your order, subject to workload and availability of materials.
Sub-contracting installation works
Simple Green Energy will subcontract Chris in accordance with RECC.
Simple Green Energy Limited cannot be held responsible for any installations carried out with respect to BRCC (Building Regulations Compliance Certificate).
Commissioning the system and handover
As soon as the work is complete, we will commission your system in line with MCS standards to ensure that it is safe, has been installed in accordance with documented procedures and manufacturer's requirements and is operating correctly in accordance with the design.
