About Us
Simple Green Energy (SGE) delivers government-backed energy-efficiency upgrades across England & Wales (and projects in Scotland), with a focus on ECO4 and GBIS measures such as loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, ventilation improvements and heating upgrades. We pair rigorous compliance with a friendly, customer-first approach.
The Role (What you’ll do)
You’ll complete end-to-end domestic retrofit surveys that enable safe, compliant, and cost-effective installations. Typical day-to-day includes:
On-site property surveys: measure and record building fabric, construction type, U-values inputs, existing insulation depths/condition, ventilation and heating systems, access/loft conditions, damp/condensation indicators, and H&S risks.
Floor plans: produce accurate site-measured floor plans (incl. room names, dimensions, window/door positions, roof type, and orientation) to SGE/PAS 2035 conventions.
EPR creation in Elmhurst: complete Energy Performance Reports (RdSAP/SAP within Elmhurst platform), ensuring all evidence (photos, notes, drawings) is complete, consistent, and audit-ready.
Eligibility & evidence: capture proof required for ECO4/GBIS/LA-Flex (e.g., council tax band, heating type, photo evidence, customer declarations).
Customer communication: explain findings, set expectations, and handle basic queries professionally on-site.
Risk & quality: complete risk assessments, highlight non-standard or unsafe conditions, and propose pragmatic, compliant solutions.
Data & handover: upload survey packs, photos, AutoCAD files and EPR outputs to SGE systems (CRM/portals) the same day, ready for technical review and installation scheduling.
Travel: cover multi-region routes across England, Wales & Scotland; manage your schedule to hit daily/weekly targets.
